Duties, Taxes and Custom Fees

1. United States and Hong Kong Duties are included. There may be taxes incurred on your shipment that you will be responsible for upon delivery.

2. Other international orders may be subject to import duties and taxes once they arrive in the destination country. These additional charges can’t be covered or refunded by HN JEWELRY. Since import duties and taxes vary from country to country, we recommend contacting your local customs office for more information before you place your order.

In Stock - It's in our facilities and ready for a new home! In-Stock items typically ship within 1-2 business days from the purchase date. In-stock engraved pieces take more time to get personalized, and typically ship within 3 business days from the purchase date.

Made To Order* - Once your order has been placed, we need to craft the piece since it’s being made specially for you, and can take around 10-15 business days to be completed.

We offer free 7-day returns starting from the day the shipment is delivered or picked up in-store.

Return requirements

• Items must be in their original condition without signs of wear or damage.

• Items returned by mail must be in all original packaging (including boxes, and any cards).

• Earrings must be unworn for hygiene reasons.

• Returns must be shipped from the same country to which they were delivered.

Shipping fees are non-refundable. Returning orders subject to a return fee will be deducted from the amount being refunded to you.

We strongly recommend using a trackable shipping service to ensure safe delivery. HN JEWELRY is not responsible for return shipments that are lost in transit, so please keep your tracking number until the return is confirmed.

Once your return is received and inspected, you will receive a notification from us by email. If your return is approved, a full refund will be processed to your original payment method within 5 business days, depending on your bank or payment provider.

HN Jewelry offers a complimentary lifetime warranty on all fine jewelry purchases. This warranty includes any quality issues that arise from a manufacturing defect, including loose diamonds or loose prongs, and missing pavé stones. The warranty does not cover issues that arise from normal wear and tear, including but not limited to: scratches, dents, misshapen bands, or cracked stones. Lost or stolen pieces are also not covered by warranty. Resizes are not included. 

We always recommend insuring your Bespoke pieces. Alternatively, you may insure your jewelry by adding it as a scheduled item or rider under your homeowner’s insurance policy. Please note that you will need to reference the appraisal provided with your purchase when arranging coverage.

As a general rule, these activities should be avoided if you're wearing gold vermeil, sterling silver, pearls, mother-of-pearl, and gemstones. Solid gold pieces, however, can be worn in water as long as you take care to avoid scratching them on hard surfaces. It's also advisable to remove bracelets or rings when washing your hands. This can help prevent oxidation and preserve the shine of your jewelry.

In short: Yes. While solid gold is somewhat more durable, the general rule is that all lotions, cosmetics, soaps, and perfumes should not come into contact with your jewelry to ensure it continues to look radiantly beautiful.

You've probably already figured out that these aren't ideal activities for wearing your jewelry. While solid gold is resistant to sweat, you should still be careful to prevent your pieces from getting scratched.

Your solid gold pieces should be stored in a cool, dry place, ideally in your jewelry box or a soft pouch. Since gold is a soft material that can scratch easily, you should make sure to store them separately.

Be sure to store them separately to avoid scratches. While minor scratches on your jewelry may be removed with cleaning, gemstones require extra care.

These natural treasures don't require much—just a little love and attention. Avoid contact with lotions, cosmetics, soaps, and perfumes to protect your pearls from dulling. Pearls like to have room to breathe to maintain their healthy luster, so you should never store them in an airtight container.
