HN Jewelry is a living reflection of a craftsmanship tradition that began more than 50 years ago. While our family’s artisanal roots date back to 1968, our presence in the heart of Hong Kong has remained constant in the very same location since 1993.
For over 30 years, our shop has evolved, yet our workshop remains unchanged—preserving a rare tradition of craftsmanship in a city where such continuity is increasingly scarce. Today, it has become rare in Hong Kong to find a showroom and an active jewelry workshop existing together in one place. Customers can still witness jewelry being made by hand, just as it has been for decades.
HN is more than a name — it is a legacy.
The name HN carries a deeply personal meaning. It traces back to Hon Ngai, the family jewelry business founded by Terence’s father in Hong Kong in the 1990s, built on a deep respect for craftsmanship and integrity. The story began even earlier with Terence’s grandfather, who also worked as a jeweler, passing down not only technical skill, but a lifelong devotion to the craft.
Today, Terence continues that tradition as the third generation, carrying the family legacy forward through HN Jewelry, reimagined with a modern perspective and a refined, timeless aesthetic.
